SPRING HILL, Florida – Extra! Extra! Read all about it – for free!

The Spring Hill Courier is pleased to announce that it will begin printing a free daily newspaper that will be delivered to every home in Hernando County.

“When we heard our local daily newspaper was going under, we rushed to put together a great product and get it to market before the Hernando Today’s body was even cold in the ground,” Spring Hill Courier director of marketing Philip T. Munger said. “It’ll fill that void left by that paper’s closing and bring a new element to print that no other market in America has seen. Not even Obama’s failed economic policies can bring this media model down.”

Along with the great local coverage from the Spring Hill Courier journalists you have come to trust, the newspaper will feature large spreads of coupons, both from national and local business. Even more exciting is that each day’s edition will have wrapped inside a product sample from one of our valued advertising partners, such as Milton’s Meat Market, Ridge Manor Pest Solutions and the Brooksville Reptile Breeding Facility.

“Imagine opening up your front door each morning and finding a wealth of local news and inside of that hundreds of valuable coupons wrapping a mini strip steak and a couple ounces of a new, cutting-edge, pest-repelling chemical developed by a local company,” Munger said. “And to think it’s all free. It’s really remarkable.”

Subscriptions will be free for everyone in the county and there is no need to sign up – you’ll simply start seeing issues in your driveway or somewhere near your door.

Plus, we’ve made it more convenient than ever to keep your subscription active. If for some reason you feel our great new product doesn’t meet your needs and you wish to cancel, you only have to pay a one-time $39 fee per year to offset the pre-paid commitment from our advertising partners.

And while an old-fashioned media company might have you put your deliveries on hold while out of town, there’s no need with the Spring Hill Courier. We’ll continue leaving our content, valuable coupons and fresh samples in your yard no matter how many days you’re gone and they’re all still yours to keep when you return home!

The Spring Hill Courier will also deliver extra copies stuffed with fresh samples to parking lots, leaving them on cars throughout the county in places people are likely to have been at work before their home delivery, and many businesses will also begin finding stacks outside their doors in the morning meant to be given out as extras to those who carpooled in from neighboring counties.

The newspaper will also be available at many major intersections, where teams of at-risks tweens will be handing out copies to drivers as part of the Courier’s youth mentoring program.
