Save a fistful of dollars with Chili’s Domestic Violence Awareness deals

SPRING HILL, Florida – Chili’s is honoring domestic abuse victims with some deals that will be hard to beat.
The restaurant’s Hernando and Pasco county locations will be participating in the promotion through the end of October, offering up a themed line of products and specials and donating five percent of taxable profits to a non-profit.
New drinks include Strawberry-Kiwi Punch-ing Bag, Injunction Gumption, No-Cal Bleeding Mary and the Orange You Glad You Listened Smoothie.
The promotion also comes with some new signs in the chain’s famous chalkboard style.
“Did you wife give you a boo-boo? We’ve got a new lady for you… Shirley Temple,” one sign reads.
“Been the victim of domestic violence? Give him the ol’ 1-2 with our 2-for-1,” reads another.
The Dawn Center has volunteered its 18-seat van to give diners free rides home.
Managers said they expect there will be many interested in the deals and didn’t beat around the bush about tighter restrictions. The restaurant will require proof of an active restraining order to get the discounts this year after managers said they lost money last October when they believe many patrons lied.
